TAME YOUR TONGUE!

To believers of this generation, I write!
To the light bearers of this age, I ask!
When has it become a sin,
For a sinner to receive salvation simply because of difference in gender?
When has it become a crime,
For a believer to spread the light and love of Christ simply because of some unholy, dirty minded church goers?
When has it become unholy,
For a preacher to enter into a drunkard’s house in order to share the message of salvation?
When has it become ungodly,
For gatekeepers to stand in the gap for a nation whose heart is far away from her Maker?

If truly, it be a sin, a crime, unholy, ungodly, to do the biddings of the Spirit of God because of some worthless reasons, then would Jesus Christ – our Perfect Example – have spoken to the woman at the well? Would Apostle Paul have behaved like the Romans when he was at Rome?

Soldiers of Christ, be cautioned!
Carriers of His word, Bearers of His light,
Learn to tame your tongue, lest your tongue bring you destruction.

Do not make others fall by the words of your mouth!
Do not seek the downfall of others around you, for in their rising, you also rise.
Let your words be seasoned with grace.
Let the sounds that come out of your mouth lift others up instead of bringing them down.
Remember, ALL THY WORKS SHALL BE JUDGED!

A New Thing

It’s the middle of the month today, the Lord is telling you, ‘Behold, I will do a new thing’. Remember ye not the former things, the Lord God Almighty is set to do something new in your life today. Enough of your past that’s daily hunting you! Enough of that power and principality trying to get you down! Enough of any form of lukewarmness and lithergy in your life, ministry and career!

The Lord God is ready for you. Just call unto Him and trust Him to do something new. He has promised in His words and He will never fail. You know what? It doesn’t matter where you’ve been; It doesn’t matter what you’ve been through; It doesn’t matter what has happened to you in the past; Just lay hold on His word and let it work for you.

Dear Friend,
I know what you’ve been through, trust me, I’ve also been through hell, but just as He reached out to me then, He’s reaching out to you today saying, ‘Son, enter into my rest. I have a better and brighter future for you!’
The question is, are you ready for this new thing? Do you really need something new? How much do you need a change?

If yes, just say this word of prayer,
Lord Jesus, I accept that I have no power of my own,
I call unto you for help, please take me just as I am,
Break me and mould me to the plan you’ve designed for me,
I surrender my totalty to you, for in Jesus name I’ve prayed (Amen).

The Unanswered Question

Many times our souls are overburdened,
Filled with questions that seems not to be answered,
The reason for this and the reason for that,
Why do bad things happen to good people?

Facing today, eager to know what tomorrow holds,
Fighting the battles that seems not to have an end,
Carrying the cross with pains in our hearts,
Walking the path though crooked it seems.

The Time is Now

Now is the time for us to arise,
Rising from darkness into His light,
Shinning His light in the pow’r of His might,
Choosing to fight for the King of light!

Now is the time for believers to awake,
Waking from sleep to run the race,
Running the race through His sustaining grace,
Till in the end we shall see His face!

The Master is calling to all who believes,
Believing the One whose life we now live,
Living to please the Prince of Peace,
Speaking His peace to those in need!

Are you contended with your current position?
Are you okay with the way you’ve been living your life?
Remember! Your today determines your tomorrow!
Why not take that single step that’ll change your future for the better without hesitating…

Remember,
The time is now!

Hello friend,

There are times in my life when I felt like throwing up,
Yes, there are times in my life when I felt like giving up,
There were times in my life when life seems unbearable.
But you know what? He never gave up on me!

He let troubles come my way,
He let challenges bring me to my knees,
He let problems cross my path,
That He might teach me the things I need to know.

Though through my trials, He kept mute,
Even when faced with hard trials, He never made a move,
And when I lost hope, He didn’t reach out to me,
Buh, guess what! He never left me alone!

Oh what a joy to know,
That even when He never spake, He could hear my cries,
That when He never reacted, He could see my actions,
That He’s silent doesn’t mean He’s absent!

That I might know this,
That He’ll always be there for me,
That He’s always listening to my cries,
That His hands are always open wide!

Dear Friend,
I think it’s high time you came to the understanding,
That even when you can’t see Him, He’s there,
That even when you can’t feel Him, He feels,
That even when you can’t hear Him, He listens.

Call unto Him,
Hold on to His unchanging hands,
Cling to His unconditional love,
Abide in His perfect will,
And see His salvation!

He will never put you to shame,
He’ll never forsake you,
He’ll never leave you,
He’ll never lead you astray!
